Every month-end meant 4 to 5 straight days of late nights. Journal entries for 1,500 transactions, VAT calculations, trial balance cleanup, all by hand. Now I just hand over the transactions and it's all done that same day. Finishing last December's close at 6 p.m. still feels strange.

Every property sale needs 5 to 7 registry copies, and when 50 requests pile up I was glued to iros all day. Now I send a list of addresses and within 30 minutes the PDFs and a summary table arrive together. Thinking about typing that registry certificate password 100 times still makes me dizzy.

I used to send invoices to 200 clients by hand at the start of every month. Organizing transaction data, filling in templates, attaching to emails, sending… a solid 8 hours each time. Now it goes out automatically on the morning of the 1st, and it even lines up follow-ups for anyone who hasn't paid.

When 100 new hires start at once, I used to enter contracts, the four social insurances, ID badges and internal system accounts separately. Even overtime wasn't enough. Now I just give it the hire list in Excel, and they're registered in every system at once with PDF contracts generated in bulk.

I checked DART every day for filings from the 100 companies I cover. Did a new filing come out, what type is it, classify it, summarize it, share it with the team. That took 4 hours a day. Now yaap sends an alert and a summary in one go, only when a new filing appears.

Working alone, issuing invoices, filing tax invoices and sorting receipts were all on me, even though my real job is design. Now on my way out I tell yaap "this month's settlement," and in the morning an organized summary is in my inbox. I truly have more time to design.

Before listing a property I checked the registry, market prices and official prices separately, going back and forth across 3 or 4 sites per listing. Reviewing 100 listings took a whole day. Give yaap an address and it puts everything into one table. My review time dropped to a tenth.

Every quarter I filed VAT for 70 clients: collecting documents, classifying items, entering them in Hometax, printing and sending the returns. The week of each quarterly deadline meant 2 a.m. every night. Now I just sort the documents and yaap finishes the filing and emails the returns automatically.

I collected order data from 5 marketplaces every day, then deducted inventory, wrote purchase orders and printed shipping labels myself. On surge days it was 6 hours at full tilt. With yaap, marketplace consolidation and purchase order creation happen at the same time. I was about to hire someone, and I didn't have to.

Every month I organized attendance, progress, parent notifications and next month's invoices for 80 students. It ate a whole Saturday. Give yaap the roster and attendance CSV → parent KakaoTalk notices → bulk invoices finish as one flow. Saturday is a Saturday again.

Download data from 7 ad channels every day, merge it in Excel, build a comparison sheet, write the report. Data cleanup alone took the whole morning. yaap collects each channel's data automatically and sends a consolidated PDF report every morning at 9. I finally have time for real "analysis."

For 300 retailers I sent the new-arrival catalog every week, updated the stock sheet, and sorted incoming purchase order emails by hand. Half my week was office work. Now I just update the new product info, and the catalog is generated automatically and sent out per retailer. I can focus on running the store again.
